Boxed Metro Delivery within 10km of the capital city:
For metropolitan areas, we offer boxed delivery, which may require assembly depending on the product. If assembly issues arise and a technician is needed, customers may incur a call-out or service fee. Free Boxed Delivery is available for orders exceeding $500 within Metro areas (within 10km of the capital city), excluding assembly and setup. Metro Pre-Assembled Delivery is an alternative option if assembly is required.
Pre-Assembled Delivery:
Customers can opt for fully assembled and functional product delivery. This option is particularly beneficial for the elderly or those who may struggle with assembly. There is an additional $300 charge for in-home fitting of hospital beds/riser recliner chairs. Please note, in certain rural areas, assembly of large items may not be feasible.

The BetterLiving® Non-Slip Bedside Safety Mat is often used in nursing homes or hospitals for extra safety, particularly when bed safety rails are not available or suitable (rails that can be fitted directly to the bed to help stop someone from falling out when asleep).
They are best suited for use with electric beds, where the height of the bed can be dropped to a very low setting. The Safety Mat is placed on either side of your bed as a protective floor cushion to help stop injuries in the event of accidentally rolling out of the bed.
This thin yet soft floor mat is about 50 mm high and is made from three sections of safety foam that are then covered by hinged nylon. This allows the mat to be easily folded up for compact storage when you are not using it.
The underside of the mat features a unique textured surface that prevents the mat from easily slipping if someone stands on it by mistake. However, the design of this textured surface is such that a person can still reposition the mat with his foot, making it easy to manoeuvre without needing to bend over. It is only when pressure is applied to the mat that the surface will grip the floor's surface to stop the mat from sliding.
The BetterLiving® Non-Slip Bedside Safety Mat includes a reflective strip that runs along the edge of the mat. This strip will glow in the dark or even when the lights are low to make sure the mat can be seen and does not become a trip hazard.
This product should not be used as a mat to lie on it is for fall safety purposes only. Available in two sizes, Standard or Large, please make a selection from the drop-down menu above when ordering.
